Owens Corning Science and Technology, LLC, located in Granville, Ohio is seeking a UIUC Civil and Environmental Engineering Student for a Summer, 2020 Internship.  Interns will work on research project teams for geomembrane product and systems development and research involving:  geomembrane installation practices, performance evaluation/environmental impact, and applications fit and expansion, as well as publish research results at conclusion of the internship.

Candidates must maintain a 3.2 GPA or higher and be eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

Raven Industries, located in Parker, Colorado is seeking two Civil andEnvironmental Engineering Students for Summer, 2020 internships.  Interns will learn all aspects of geomembrane fabrication, installation, testing, welding, patching and more.  Internship will include the following:

 

·       Exposure to plans and spec reviews

·       Estimating and project costing

·       AutoCad work – detail drawings and material takeoffs

·       1 week visit to manufacturing facility

·       Must attend weekly intern learning sessions via skype or conference call

·       Must present to EFD division on learning experience at the end of summer

 

Drug test and driver’s license are required.  Lodging will be provided
